Our Saman Table is crafted from salvaged timber from Saman trees that have naturally fallen. Also known as the Monkey Pod or Rain Tree, Saman is a species of flowering tree native to Central and South America. It is large and shallow-rooted with a wide umbrella-shaped canopy, known for its beneficial oxygen production. The fallen ‘Suar’ hardwood is cut in a particular way to create this individual table which has distinct open splits, knots and a mix of dark and light grain tones. Please note: Each piece is unique and tables will vary from one to another. Bespoke options are available.

We offer a nationwide delivery service which is calculated according to product weight and size during the check-out process. We also ship internationally and will quote on request. Unless alternative arrangements have been made and depending on the size of the order, bath deliveries will generally be palletised and undertaken using a 17.5 ton lorry, which is a similar size to a dustbin lorry. Pallets will then be lowered to the ground using a tail lift and pallet truck. The pallet will then be left at the nearest convenient location at the discretion of the driver, which may be the kerbside.
