Our Petrified Wood Chopping Board is handmade and has bark-like edges, combined with a completely smooth and non-porous stone-like surface. The boards look stunning but have practical benefits too, due to their non-porous qualities. Petrified Wood, sometimes described as “wood turned into stone” is created when wood is buried underground and starved of oxygen. Please note: Due to the natural and handcrafted nature of this item, there will be small variations in the appearance, shape and size of each unique piece. Not suitable for the microwave or dishwasher. To clean, wipe over with a damp, warm cloth.
