Luxury bathrooms for traditional homes

Create a luxurious and tranquil traditional bathroom with timeless marble tiles, elegant basins, and stunning freestanding baths.

Luxury bathrooms aren’t just about clean lines and standout materials. They are about creating a relaxing space for you to calm down and unwind in. Comforting, luxurious and tranquil are all words that we think should be synonymous with a well-designed bathroom.

If you have a traditional home, you could be having trouble finding a style that will work with your home’s existing décor. Traditional-style bathrooms have lasted the test of time.

Marble tiles

Marble tiles are a staple of traditional bathrooms. The natural stone is timeless and can work well in both smaller and larger spaces. You can choose whether to tile the whole bathroom in the same marble, or use different feature tiles in a decorative way. Alternatively, working a classic coloured paint against the marble can give a really effective look.

We think our Carrara or Botticino tiles would be great in an old-style designer bathroom.

Creating light

Traditional bathrooms usually focus on light and space. Whether you have the luxury of space or not, there are ways to create the feeling of more space. Tile choice, paint colour and mirrors are all things that should be considered to create the appearance of more light and space.

Basin choice

When it comes to creating a timeless bathroom a pedestal basin may seem like the obvious option. We’ve got something a bit more interesting though. Our painted oak basin units are absolutely perfect for those trying to create a stylish, opulent and traditional bathroom. The oak is painted in a choice of two classic matt colours; Morning Grey or Parchment White. The units are topped with either White Carrara marble or Absolute Black granite countertops and splashbacks. These units will give your bathroom a beautifully classic look.

Freestanding baths

If you’ve got the space for it, a freestanding bath would be the perfect addition to your designer bathroom. There’s a classic elegance about them that makes them a feature piece in any bathroom. Traditional doesn’t have to mean boring. You can still experiment with interesting materials like tin or iron.
