Ask A Question

Antique Pammets are deep, ruddy terracotta tiles with shades of chestnut and burnt oranges. The tiles mature beautifully and their rustic appearance – chipped edges, salts and lime pops – make them particularly suitable for where an aged, traditional look is required. Look carefully; you might find an occasional paw mark, made when the tiles were laid out on the mountainside to dry. Antique Pammets were the very first tile we imported and years on, remain consistently loved and a popular terracotta tile flooring choice. Please note: The tiles are characterised by chipped edges and salts which may be removed during the laying process. Tiles will vary greatly in colour from one to another.

We offer a nationwide delivery service which is calculated according to product weight and size during the check-out process. We also ship internationally and will quote on request. Unless alternative arrangements have been made and depending on the size of the order, for floors & walls, deliveries will generally be palletised and undertaken using a 17.5 ton lorry, which is a similar size to a dustbin lorry. Pallets will then be lowered to the ground using a tail lift and pallet truck. The pallet will then be left at the nearest convenient location at the discretion of the driver, which may be the kerbside. For further information on our delivery service and charges please see our Delivery Information.

A good installation is the very foundation of a good floor and we recommend you seek advice prior to installation from one of our experts. Key things to consider are successful preparation of your substrate, the visual aspect of the room and the direction you lay the tiles, expansion joints and whether you will be installing over an underfloor heating system. For further information, please refer to our Installation Guide for Terracotta
Adhesive: Eco-flex Stand. Set Adhesive or Eco-flex Rapid Set Adhesive

Keeping terracotta floor tiles clean is easy. As terracotta is naturally porous it is important to seal the terracotta correctly first to prevent staining and make ongoing maintenance easier. We recommend establishing a regular cleaning schedule for ongoing maintenance and to help retain terracotta’s natural appeal, with most terracotta surfaces benefiting from a wet clean around once a week. Terracotta is an acid sensitive material and should always be cleaned with a gentle pH-neutral detergent, regardless of the colour or finish of the terracotta. General household cleaners tend to be quite acidic and will etch the terracotta and the grout joint, and will damage the sealer. We recommend products from the ECOPROTEC range. For more information please refer to our Cleaning & Maintenance Guide for Terracotta.
